Chiropractic Care
The purpose of spinal adjustments is to return the spine to its natural state of health, in turn to reduce pain, muscle spasms, and nerve irritation, so you can enjoy you you can enjoy your life the way you are meant to! Dr. Karp specializes in corrective chiropractic care, which focuses on detecting and correcting spinal subluxations.
Class IV K-Laser Therapy
Class 4 Laser therapy enhances tissue growth and healing. Results for the patient potentially include decreased pain, accelerated tissue repair, decreased inflammation, reduction in scar tissue formation, improved nerve function and stimulation of immunoregulation.
Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy
Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT) is a non-invasive, evidence-based treatment using high-energy magnetic pulses to address degenerative joint disorders, acute and chronic pain, and sports injuries, offering a potential for regeneration and rehabilitation.
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a non‑invasive treatment that uses high‑energy acoustic (pressure) waves delivered from outside the body to targeted tissues. Focused Shockwave Therapy is our primary shockwave modality at Spectrum Health & Pain Clinic.
Percussive Massage (Tapotement)
Percussive massage is a form of soft tissue manipulation intended to reduce muscle soreness and increase range of motion. It is a deep muscle treatment that delivers rapid and long vertical strokes into the muscle, causing neuromuscular response.
Local Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is the therapeutic application of extremely cold dry air/gas usually between −90°C and −120°C.
Cryotherapy stimulates the body's natural healing abilities and uses extreme cold to induce physiologic responses that help with pain and tissue repair.

Hydrotherapy
